The Kentucky Hip Hop Project Incorporated

Mission Statement

The Kentucky Hip Hop Project, Inc. was created with the sole purpose of giving back to low-income and underserved communities through Hip Hop music and education. The programs offered cater to all age groups, with a focus on youth from ages 10 to 17. We aim to help create the next generation of graphic artists, cinematographers, music producers, recording engineers, entertainers, songwriters, storytellers, and more. We believe that everyone, regardless of their financial situation, should be able to dream big and receive the necessary skills and training to help them build a brighter future and not give up, despite being in a low-income or underserved community. Although our primary focus is on training the youth, we welcome anyone who is trying to learn a trade and better themselves to become an asset to the community. Therefore, separate training sessions will be provided for those aged 18 and older.

- We organize concerts and festivals where all the skills we have taught our participants will be showcased. This will include musical performances, designs for flyers and posters by graphics design students, live sound stage leveling during performances, and live broadcasting by cinematography students. Photography students will also provide photo coverage of the events. Our goal is to give back to the community, which will help build moral fiber and character.
